Originating in Slovenia, this variety consistently yields huge bulbs with large cloves, all in beautiful white wrappers reminiscent of the glaciers atop its volcanic namesake. Very easy to grow!
Fiery, pungent raw flavor mellows out into a sweet, easygoing taste when roasted. Easy to peel. 4-6 cloves per bulb. Stores up to 6 months after harvest; use by the end of December.
